How we handle your information
The shortest version: we collect only what we need to send you a reading, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete what we have on you at any time.

A small Canadian practice
Moon & Money is the work of Luna Wilde (Laura, the founder), operating as a sole proprietor in Alberta, Canada. For anything in this notice you can reach us at moonandmoney@proton.me.
Only what your reading needs
For a personalised Money Chart reading:
- Your first name
- Your email
- Your birth date, birth time, and birth city
Those are the inputs the chart is built from. Birth time is optional (some people do not know it, and the reading is still produced).
For the rest of the site: basic, anonymous traffic counts (page views, where visitors come from) so we can see what is read and what helps. That is all.
Strictly to deliver what you bought
Your birth data is used to compute the chart. Your email is used to send you the reading. Your order details are kept so we can support you if a delivery fails.
We do not sell your information. We do not pass it to anyone for marketing.
A few trusted services, each doing a small slice
A reading touches several specialised platforms. Each handles only the part it needs:
- Lemon Squeezy processes your payment as our merchant of record (it also handles sales tax).
- Resend delivers the reading email to your inbox.
- Render hosts the engine that builds your chart, on a private server.
- Netlify hosts the website you are reading.
- Anthropic (Claude) generates the language of your reading from the chart facts. Your birth data is sent in the prompt; nothing is retained on their side beyond the API call.
- OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) turns your birth city into coordinates for the chart math.
- Google Analytics counts anonymous traffic on the site (no personal data tied to it).
If you would rather not appear in Google Analytics, your browser's privacy settings or an ad blocker will quietly exclude you. Nothing on the site depends on it.
Your order, for as long as you are a customer
Order details (name, email, what you bought, when) stay on file while you are a customer, so we can support you if anything is wrong with a delivery. Birth-data inputs are not retained beyond the delivery of your reading. If you want everything tied to you removed, email us and we will do it.
Access, correction, deletion
You can email moonandmoney@proton.me at any time to:
- Ask what we have on you
- Correct something that is wrong
- Have your information deleted
We respond within 30 days. If you are in Canada, this notice is also our PIPEDA statement; if you are in the EU or UK, the same rights apply under GDPR.
A handful, all functional
The site uses a small number of cookies: a Google Analytics cookie (anonymous traffic), and a few that the page-rendering framework sets to remember things like your timezone for the calendar. Nothing on the site uses advertising cookies or third-party tracking.
Not for under 16
The site and its products are written for adults and are not intended for anyone under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information, email us and we will delete it.
If anything material changes
If we update this policy in a meaningful way, the "last updated" date at the top changes, and a note goes on the home page. The current policy is always the one shown here.
