The Leak

Coming on the New Moon
June 14 · Look

A four-lesson money course, one per lunar phase. Lesson One is free. The rest live inside the Crescent Club.

The first cycle opens with the New Moon

June 14, 2026. Be told the moment it opens.

The New Moon is the dark of the cycle. Nothing has sprouted yet. It is the moment for planting, and the first thing you plant here is honesty.

So before we touch a budget, a goal, or a single “should,” we do the one thing almost nobody does: we look.

The Teaching

You cannot change what you refuse to see. Most people manage their money by feel, by the vague sense of “I think I’m okay” or “I think I overspent,” and that fog is exactly where the leaks live. A leak survives by not being looked at. The moment you see it clearly, it loses most of its power, before you have changed a single habit.

This is also the skeptic’s doorway. You do not need astrology, affirmations, or a money mindset to do this lesson. You need thirty days of transactions and the willingness to read them. It is data, not belief.

The Exercise

Pull the last thirty days from every account you spend out of: the chequing account, the credit card, the tap-to-pay, the one you forget about. Read every line. Do not categorize, do not total, do not judge, and above all do not fix anything yet. Just read it the way you would read a stranger’s diary: with curiosity, not a verdict. Notice what surprises you.

Private to you. Nothing you type here is saved or sent anywhere.

Reflection

What did I expect to see, and what did I actually see? Where was the gap between the two the widest?

The Close

You are not behind. You are not bad with money. You are someone who just turned the light on. That is the whole job this week.
